Current: Ms Letsatsi-Duba serves as the current Minister of State Security of the Republic of South Africa effective from 26th February 2018 Member at National Assembly (Parliament) since 21st May 2014 Member at African National Congress (ANC)
Past: Ms Letsatsi-Duba went into exile in 1982 to join the ANC and Umkhonto we Sizwe. She also worked as the editor in chief of Voice of Women (ANC Women's Journal) and as a Media Liaison Officer in the ANC Headquarters (Shell House) from 1992 to 1994. In 2007 she was elected to serve the Provincial Executive Committee and as Provincial Treasurer of the ANC in 2008. She previously served as a Member of the Limpopo Legislature and MEC for Agriculture and, prior to her appointment to the National Executive, as Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises. Education: She completed her secondary education at Luanshya Girls' High School in Zambia and completed a Diploma in Political Science in Cuba in 1987. She has also completed a Diploma in Mass Communication from Zimbabwe Harare Polytech.
